Terms & Conditions – Ghana City Tours

1. Booking & Reservations

• All bookings must be confirmed in writing via our website, email, or authorized agent.

• A deposit may be required to secure your reservation. Full payment is required prior to the start of the tour.

2. Payments

• Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or credit/debit card.

• All prices are quoted in Ghanaian Cedi (GHS) unless otherwise stated.

• Any additional costs (entrance fees, meals not included, optional activities) must be settled by the guest.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made 14 days or more before the tour start date: Full refund (minus processing fees).

• Cancellations made 7–13 days before: 50% refund.

• Cancellations made less than 7 days before: Non-refundable.

• No-shows on the day of the tour are non-refundable.

• Ghana City Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, safety concerns). In such cases, guests will be offered a full refund or alternative date.

4. Tour Inclusions & Exclusions

• Tour inclusions (transport, meals, entrance fees, guides) are stated clearly in each package description.

• Items not mentioned (souvenirs, personal expenses, tips) are excluded.

5. Transport & Facilities

• Ghana City Tours provides safe, air-conditioned vehicles with professional drivers.

• Rest stops and meal breaks are arranged depending on the itinerary.

• Guests are responsible for their personal belongings during the tour.

6. Health, Safety & Insurance

• Guests are responsible for ensuring they are fit to participate in tours.

• Any medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

• Ghana City Tours recommends guests obtain travel insurance covering health, accidents, cancellations, and personal belongings.

• While we take every precaution for safety, participation in activities (such as hiking, canopy walks, or boat rides) is at the guest’s own risk.

7. Visas, Passports & Travel Documents

• Guests are responsible for obtaining valid visas, passports, vaccination certificates, and any other required travel documents.

8. Liability

• Ghana City Tours will not be held responsible for:

  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

  • Delays or changes due to weather, strikes, road closures, or other events beyond our control.

  • Injuries or accidents resulting from negligence on the part of the guest.

• Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour package.

9. Behavior & Conduct

• Guests are expected to respect local customs, traditions, and laws.

• Ghana City Tours reserves the right to remove any guest from a tour if their behavior endangers others or disrupts the experience.

10. Photography & Media

• Ghana City Tours may capture photos or videos during tours for promotional purposes.

• If you do not wish to appear in media, please inform us in advance.

11. Amendments to Itinerary

• Ghana City Tours reserves the right to adjust itineraries when necessary for safety, comfort, or logistical reasons.

• Any significant changes will be communicated in advance where possible.

12. Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

• Any disputes shall be resolved under Ghanaian jurisdiction.
